The mission of the TSLA is to organize and promote the growth of boys’ high school and middle school lacrosse in the state of Tennessee. This mission includes governing and regulating boys’ high school and middle school lacrosse in the state of Tennessee; publicizing TSLA events to the public at large and communicating with interested persons about the TSLA; soliciting moral and financial support from individuals, organizations, corporations, societies and groups to promote and develop boys’ high school and middle school lacrosse; honoring individuals past and present, who by their deeds as players, coaches or contributors to the TSLA have honored the game of lacrosse and the TSLA; and protecting and respecting the right of opportunity, without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual preference or national origin, of any amateur athlete, coach, trainer, manager, administrator, or official to participate in amateur athletic competition in the sport of lacrosse while supporting the concept of the multisport athlete.
